Our Mission
The Alberta Justice Civil Lawyers Association (ACJLA) is committed to furthering the general interests and professional development of its members.
The AJCLA operates with the following objects:

To facilitate ongoing professional development of members;

To, in collaboration with Alberta Justice organizational learning business unit(s), provide continuing education to members, including organizing conferences or other educational opportunities;

To liaise with Alberta Government senior officials regarding employment and workplace issues affecting members;

To raise employment and workplace issues affecting members, including with Alberta Government senior officials;
-
To pursue measures to address employment and workplace issues affecting members;
-
To establish and maintain relationships with similar associations of Crown Counsel or of other public sector legal counsel within Alberta or in other jurisdictions; and
-
To receive funds for the organization for use in the advancement of these objects.
